Please note that Veterans OneCare is an independent healthcare provider and cannot guarantee claim approval, which remains under the sole jurisdiction of Veterans Affairs Canada.
No. Veterans OneCare is an independent, physician-led clinical healthcare provider network. We do not represent Veterans Affairs Canada. We work with Veterans who have VAC healthcare coverage (such as Blue Cross / Medavie VAC Health Cards), provincial health insurance (OHIP), or private health benefits.
We recommend having your provincial health card (OHIP), your VAC / Medavie Blue Cross health card (if applicable), a current list of all medications and supplements, relevant prior medical reports or imaging discs, and any claim forms or questionnaires you require clinical assistance with.
Yes. Many follow-up visits, psychotherapy sessions, mental health reviews, and preliminary intake discussions can be conducted securely via video or telephone for Veterans living anywhere in Ontario who cannot easily travel to one of our physical clinic locations.
Many medical consultations are covered under provincial health insurance (OHIP). For eligible Veterans with approved VAC conditions, covered treatments (such as specialized physiotherapy, psychotherapy, and medical devices) are billed directly through Blue Cross / Medavie whenever authorized. Our administrative team assists in verifying coverage before appointments.
